How to Make a Simple Snack Using Graham Crackers

When your kids are want a different treat, try these creative graham cracker snacks. The best part about these treats is that your kids will be entertaining themselves and exercising their inventiveness while they make them.

Things You'll Need

  • Cream cheese or white frosting
  • Blue food coloring
  • Graham crackers
  • Fish crackers
  • Celery
  • Cereal "O"s
  • Peanut butter
  • Cream cheese
  • Raisins
  • Dried fruit
  • Nuts
  • Shredded cheese
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Sprinkles
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar
  • Parmesan cheese

Make Graham Cracker Aquariums

  1. Add blue food coloring to a can of white frosting or softened cream cheese and mix well.

  2. Spread the blue layer on top one graham cracker square.

  3. Give the kids each a blue covered graham cracker, a few fish crackers, a few "O" shaped cereal pieces and some thinly sliced celery shoots.

  4. Let them make their own aquarium scene complete with fish, plants and cereal for rocks.

Make Graham Cracker Pizzas

  1. Spread peanut butter or cream cheese on graham cracker squares before the kids arrive or sit down.

  2. Give each child a graham cracker with spread, and let them choose their toppings. Tell them they can create their own little graham cracker pizzas.

  3. Put out plates or dishes of sprinkles, raisins, sunflower seeds, shredded cheese, mini marshmallows, dried fruit or any other tiny toppings.

  4. Help them sprinkle Parmesan cheese, cinnamon or a small amount of colored sugar on top their creation.
