Why are fluids like juice sticky?
Fluids like juice are not generally sticky. If a fluid is sticky, it is likely to be a non-Newtonian fluid, such as syrup, honey or ketchup, which display viscoelasticity. Non-Newtonian fluids resist deformation differently depending on the shear rate. They can appear solid-like or liquid-like depending on the applied stress.
