Could someone please tell you what the difference is between a simple salad and compound salad?
A simple salad consists of a few ingredients, mostly greens, with little or no dressing. A compound salad is larger and will have more variety in ingredients, including meat, fish, poultry, pasta, rice, or legumes, and has additional dressing.
