What is a cabb salad?

Cobb salad is a main-dish American salad composed of chopped cooked chicken breast, bacon, hard-boiled eggs, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and crumbled blue cheese. It is typically served with a vinaigrette dressing. The salad was created by Bob Cobb, owner of The Brown Derby restaurant in Hollywood, California, in the 1930s.
