How to Make An Easy Layered Mexican Dip (5 Steps)
Layered dips make great appetizers at functions and parties. This recipe for an easy Mexican dip can be done in less than 5 minutes and your guest will love it.
Things You'll Need
- 1 can refried beans
- 2 tbsp. salsa or taco sauce
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup prepared guacamole
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend cheese
- 2 medium green onions, chopped
- Tortilla chips
Instructions

Mix the can of refried beans with the salsa or taco sauce. Spread a layer of the mixture evenly over a 12 inch serving plate or casserole dish.

Spread an even layer of sour cream over the refried bean mixture. Leave approximately an inch of beans showing around the edge of the sour cream.

Spread an even layer of the prepared guacamole over the sour cream, leaving an inch border of sour cream under the guacamole.

Sprinkle the cheese over the top of the guacamole. Sprinkle the chopped green onion over the cheese.

Serve the Mexican layered dip immediately with tortilla chips or you can refrigerate the dip for up to 24 hours.
