Does white vinegar have sugar in it?

White vinegar is a fermented product made from water and ethanol (alcohol). During the fermentation process, the ethanol is converted into acetic acid, which gives vinegar its sour taste and characteristic aroma. White vinegar does not have any added sugar, and contains only trace amounts of naturally occurring sugars from the fermentation process. These trace amounts are negligible and contribute virtually no calories or carbohydrates to the product.
