## Cooking Directions for Pretzel Dogs
Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 count) hot dogs
- 1 can (10 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Coarse sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
3. Place a hot dog at the wide end of each triangle, and roll up the dough to enclose the hot dog.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together the mustard, ketchup, sugar, and baking soda.
5. Brush the tops of the pretzel dogs with the mustard mixture.
6. In a shallow dish, beat the egg with a fork.
7. Dip the pretzel dogs into the beaten egg, and then roll them in the coarse sea salt.
8. Place the pretzel dogs on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
10. Serve with additional mustard and ketchup.
