Left tuna 3 days in refrigerator is it bad?
Refrigerated Leftover Tuna
Opened canned tuna or leftovers from a cooked tuna steak or casserole can be safely refrigerated for up to 3 to 4 days. To maximize the shelf life of cooked tuna for safety and quality, refrigerate the tuna in airtight containers or wrap tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil or plastic wrap. Discard cooked tuna left at room temperature for more than 2 hours, or tuna refrigerated for longer than 3 to 4 days.
Frozen Leftover Tuna
You can further extend the shelf life of cooked tuna by freezing it. To freeze cooked tuna, place the tuna in airtight containers or heavy-duty freezer bags. Cooked tuna that has been properly stored can be kept frozen for up to 2 to 3 months. When ready to use, thaw frozen tuna in the refrigerator overnight or under cold running water for a few minutes. Reheat cooked tuna to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) before consumption.
