What does food norm mean?
A food norm is the socially determined quantity and composition of meals required to satisfy needs at different stages of the lifecycle such as childhood, adolescence, or pregnancy. As dietary habits may also be related to culture, religion, geography or other factors which change overtime and between population groups, food norms have changed historically and vary culturally.
