Why jains eat butter?
Jains do not eat butter as it is considered an animal product. Butter is made from milk, which is produced by female mammals to nourish their young. Jains believe that consuming milk and other animal products is a form of violence and exploitation of animals, and they therefore abstain from these products.
Jains have a strict vegetarian diet and do not consume any food that contains animal products, including meat, eggs, fish, poultry, honey, and dairy products such as butter, milk, cheese, and yogurt. Instead, they focus on consuming plant-based foods such as fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, and nuts.
