Is there glass shards in military grade pepper spray?
Military grade pepper spray does not contain any glass shards. While some early versions of pepper spray did contain glass particles, these have been phased out due to safety concerns. Modern pepper sprays are made with capsaicin, a chemical compound derived from chili peppers, which is responsible for the burning sensation and irritation associated with pepper spray.
