How would one get red wine stains out of a cotton tablecloth?

Instructions:

1. Blot, don't rub. Resist the urge to rub the stain, as this can spread it and make it more difficult to remove. Instead, blot the stain with a clean, white cloth or paper towel to remove as much of the wine as possible.

2. Rinse the stain with cold water. The sooner the stain is treated, the easier it will be to remove. Rinse the stained area with cold water to remove any remaining wine. Avoid using hot water, as this can set the stain.

3. Treat the stain with a stain remover. There are several different commercial stain removers available. Always test a stain remover on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric before using it on the entire stain.

4. Wash the tablecloth with detergent and bleach. After the stain has been removed, wash the tablecloth in hot water with a heavy-duty detergent and bleach.

5. Dry the tablecloth in the sun. Sunlight can help to remove any residual stains.
