Is it legal to make moonshine in Mississippi?
It is illegal to produce moonshine in Mississippi. Under Mississippi Code Section 97-19-51 (Sale or manufacture of alcoholic beverages without a license), the unauthorized production of moonshine is considered a misdemeanor, and can result in a fine of up to $1,000, up to one year in jail, or both.
