Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Find a location for the drinking fountain. It should be in a high-traffic area, away from direct sunlight and near a water source.
2. Drill a hole in the wall and pass the copper tubing and electrical cord (if necessary) through the hole.
3. Attach the shut-off valve to the copper tubing.
4. Attach the tee connector to the shut-off valve.
5. Connect the PEX tubing to the tee connector.
6. Connect the other end of the PEX tubing to the faucet.
7. Mount the drinking fountain unit on the wall using screws and pipe clips.
8. Attach the faucet to the drinking fountain unit.
9. Connect the waste line from the drinking fountain to the drain.
10. Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the drain and screw it into place.
11. Turn on the water supply.
12. Test the drinking fountain to make sure it works properly.
13. Seal the gaps around the drinking fountain with silicone caulk.
Tips:
- Make sure that the drinking fountain is properly leveled before securing it to the wall.
- If the drinking fountain is not coming with a water filter, you may want to install one separately to improve the quality of the water.
- Periodically inspect the fountain for leaks and clean or replace the water filter if necessary.
