Should hermit crabs be kept in pairs?
No, hermit crabs should not be kept in pairs. Hermit crabs are naturally solitary creatures and do best when kept alone. They should only be kept in pairs if they are already known to be compatible. However, even compatible pairs may eventually start to fight, so it is best to keep them separate.
