How big do goldfish need to be breed?
Goldfish do not need to be a specific size in order to breed. They reach sexual maturity at different sizes depending on the breed, water temperature, and other environmental factors. However, most goldfish will not begin to breed until they are at least 4 inches long. Additionally, goldfish should be at least 2 years old before breeding to ensure that they are healthy and able to produce viable offspring.
