What enemies do tuna have?

Tuna, being apex predators, have relatively few enemies. Some of their main predators include:

1. Sharks: Some species of sharks, such as the great white shark and the mako shark, are known to hunt and prey upon tuna.

2. Marine Mammals: Killer whales and certain species of dolphins, such as the Risso's dolphin, are known to hunt tuna.

3. Swordfish: Swordfish have been known to attack and eat tuna.

4. Other Large Marine Predators: Other predators that may prey on tuna include blue marlin, sailfish, and giant squid.

5. Humans: Humans are one of the biggest predators of tuna. Tuna are caught for commercial and recreational fishing purposes, leading to a significant decline in their populations in some areas.

Additionally, tuna may face threats from environmental factors such as habitat loss, pollution, and overfishing, which can indirectly affect their survival and ability to reproduce.
