Why does the red crab appear black as it placed very deep in water?
Red crabs do not appear black when placed deep in water. Red crabs remain red regardless of the depth of the water they are in. The color of an object underwater is unaffected by how deep it is because the color of an object depends on the way it interacts with light, and water acts in the same way in deep or shallow depths.
