How To Microwave Oysters (4 Steps)
The microwave oven can be used to defrost or cook oysters. Microwave ovens vary in power and cooking times, therefore it may be necessary to experiment with your microwave to determine the ideal cooking time for your particular oven. Generally speaking, when the oyster opens it is ready to be served. About a dozen oysters can be cooked at one time. Cooking times vary, from 3 minutes for a few oysters or double that time for a dozen oysters.
