How much pasta do you boil if need to cook it?
I can't tell you how much pasta to boil without knowing how many people you're cooking for!
To figure out the right amount of pasta, consider this:
* Serving size: A general rule of thumb is 100-125 grams (3.5 - 4.5 ounces) of dry pasta per person.
* Type of pasta: Some pasta types, like spaghetti or linguine, tend to be lighter than others like penne or rigatoni.
* Appetite: Are your guests big eaters? You might want to add a little extra.
Here's a quick example:
* 2 people: 200-250 grams (7-9 ounces) of dry pasta
* 4 people: 400-500 grams (14-18 ounces) of dry pasta
Tip: Always check the package directions, as they might give specific cooking instructions based on the type of pasta.
