What is Asian pasta?

There is no single type of pasta that can be definitively termed "Asian pasta". Pasta, as we commonly know it, originated in Italy and is a staple food in Italian cuisine. While there are numerous types of noodles and noodle dishes in various Asian cuisines, such as ramen in Japan, pho in Vietnam, pad thai in Thailand, these would generally not be referred to as "Asian pasta".
