How do you air dry homemade egg noodles?
There are a few different ways to air dry homemade egg noodles.
1. The most common method is to hang the noodles on a clothesline or drying rack. To do this, cut the noodles into desired lengths and then drape them over the line or rack. Make sure that the noodles are not touching each other, as this can prevent them from drying evenly. Allow the noodles to dry for several hours or overnight.
2. You can also air dry homemade egg noodles in a dehydrator. To do this, place the cut noodles in a single layer on the dehydrator trays. Set the dehydrator to 125°F (52°C) and allow the noodles to dry for 6-8 hours.
3. Finally, you can also air dry homemade egg noodles by spreading them out on a clean kitchen towel. Make sure that the noodles are not touching each other, as this can prevent them from drying evenly. Cover the noodles with another kitchen towel and allow them to dry for several hours or overnight.
Once the noodles are dry, they can be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Homemade egg noodles can be stored for up to 6 months.
