Ingredients
- 3 pounds boneless beef short ribs
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400-450°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the short ribs, olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Mix until the short ribs are well coated.
- Place the short ribs on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Baste the short ribs with the remaining marinade during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Serve immediately.
Tips
- To ensure that the short ribs are cooked through, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the rib. The ribs are done when the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- You can also grill short ribs on a charcoal grill. Simply follow the same instructions, but use indirect heat instead of direct heat.
- If you don't have a grill, you can also cook short ribs in the oven. Preheat your oven to 400°F and cook the ribs for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
