How warm should a fish tank be before putting in it?
The ideal temperature for a tropical fish tank is between 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit (24-27 degrees Celsius). It's important to gradually introduce fish to their new tank by floating the sealed bag they came in in the tank water for about 15-20 minutes to allow the temperatures to equalize. This helps to reduce stress and prevent temperature shock.
