How much room does a betta fish need?
Betta fish, also known as Siamese Fighting Fish, require a minimum tank size of 5 gallons or larger. However, it is generally recommended to provide them with at least 10 gallons for optimal swimming space and comfort. Bettas are active swimmers and enjoy exploring their environment, so the more space they have, the better. A longer tank is preferable to a taller one, as this allows for more horizontal swimming space.
