Ingredients and Tools:
- 1 whole duck, cleaned and with giblets removed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil
- Herbs of your choice (such as rosemary, thyme, and sage)
- Aromatics (such as chopped onion, garlic, and ginger)
- Honey/Maple syrup/Molasses (optional for glazing)
Instructions:
1. Preparation:
- Clean the duck thoroughly inside and out. Pat it dry with paper towels.
- Season the duck generously inside and out with salt and pepper.
- Place the duck breast side up on a roasting rack placed inside a roasting pan.
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
