Do you need to fill the crock pot with liquid cover roast?
It's not necessary to completely cover the roast with liquid in the crock pot. Adding enough liquid to cover about half the roast is sufficient to keep it moist and flavorful throughout the cooking process. Adding too much liquid can result in a watery or bland dish. The ingredients' moisture content and the preferred consistency will all influence the amount of liquid needed.
