Make the Base of Your Weight Watchers Turkey Chili
First, you will need to coat a large dutch oven with cooking spray and place over medium heat. Then add the canola oil onion and sauté onion until soft which will take about 5 to 7 minutes. Next, add the garlic, carrots, and jalapeno and cook until garlic is softened (about 1 minute). This mixture will begin to build the flavor base for your weight watchers turkey chili. -
Add the Turkey To Your Weight Watchers Turkey Chili
Now that you have built a strong flavor base, you will add the ground turkey. Brown the turkey meat and break it up with a wooden spoon as it is cooking. This will take about 5 minutes over medium heat. Once the turkey is browned, you will add all the other ingredients that will add flavor and depth to your weight watchers turkey chili. Bring this combination to a boil and then allow to simmer covered for 40 minutes. -
Garnish and Serve Your Weight Watchers Turkey Chili
Once your weight watchers turkey chili has simmered for 40 minutes, it is time to serve it. This recipe makes 6 servings and each turkey chili serving contains 4 weight watcher points.
