Which Chinese dynasty invented Tea?

The Chinese invented tea during the Shang Dynasty (1600-1046 BCE). Although Emperor Shen Nung (2737-2697 BCE) is traditionally credited with first discovering tea after leaves from a wild tea tree fell into his cup of boiling water.
