How to prepare Cardamom Tea
Cardamom is a spice that comes from the evergreen rainforests of southern India. The pods and seeds are used for cooking as well as for medicine. Proponents of cardamom's health benefits maintain that the spice is a source for antioxidants while also holding antiseptic and anesthetic properties. The spice itself has a sweet and delicate flavor. It is often used for dessert dishes and for flavoring coffees, teas and liquors. You can brew your own cardamom tea at home to enjoy its rich, light taste.
