How to Make the Most Delicious and Best Tasting Tea

Ever wondered what causes tea to taste too strong, too weak, too bitter or just not have that taste you are looking for? Following these steps for making tea will produce the best tasting tea for even the most unseasoned tea maker.

Things You'll Need

  • Tea Leaves or Tea Bags
  • Kettle
  • Teapot
  • Sugar
  • Lemon Slices
  • Milk

Instructions

  1. Buy a good quality tea (tea leaves or tea bags). Keep the tea in an airtight container in a dry place.

  2. Fill an average size empty kettle with fresh cold water. Put the water on the stove to boil. The kettle should be completely empty of water each time you make tea.

  3. While the water is boiling, fill your teapot with hot water from the faucet to warm the pot, then, drain the water. Measure one teaspoon of tea per cup made and one teaspoon for the pot. If you are using tea bags, use one tea bag per cup and follow this same method.

  4. As soon as the water boils pour it onto the tea leaves or bags. Replace the teapot lid, let the tea steep for three to five minutes. Stir the tea before it is served and serve with sugar, lemon slices, and/or milk, whatever is preferred.
