Can you drink sprite while pregnant?
Sprite and other lemon-lime sodas are generally considered to be safe for consumption during pregnancy. While there is some caffeine content in Sprite (approximately 14 milligrams per 12-ounce can), this amount is significantly less than what is typically considered safe for pregnant women. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that pregnant women limit their caffeine intake to no more than 200 milligrams per day. As such, one or two cans of Sprite per day would be considered safe. However, it is always best to consult with a doctor before making any changes to your diet during pregnancy.
