How much alcohol will diluted with water?
You can't dilute alcohol with water to make it disappear.
Here's why:
* Alcohol is a chemical substance. It doesn't just vanish when mixed with water.
* Dilution changes the concentration. Mixing alcohol with water lowers the percentage of alcohol per unit volume.
* The total amount of alcohol remains the same. If you start with 100ml of 40% alcohol and add 100ml of water, you still have the same amount of alcohol (40ml), but now it's spread over a larger volume (200ml).
So, dilution doesn't make alcohol disappear, it just makes it weaker.
It's important to remember:
* Drinking diluted alcohol is still consuming alcohol. The effects may be milder, but they are still present.
* Never dilute alcohol to make it safer to drink. This is a dangerous misconception, and it can lead to alcohol poisoning.
If you have concerns about alcohol use, please reach out to a healthcare professional or a trusted friend or family member.
