Why do alcoholics drink chocolate milk?

Alcoholics do not specifically drink more chocolate milk than the general population. Some people may wrongly assume that chocolate milk contains alcohol due to its name and the fact that chocolate is an ingredient in some alcoholic beverages. There is no scientific evidence to suggest a correlation between alcoholism and chocolate milk consumption, and it is not a medically acknowledged trait associated with alcohol dependence. Chocolate milk is a popular drink enjoyed by people of all ages, including non-alcoholics.
