How many tequila are there?

Tequila is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. There are five types of tequila based on the amount of time it has aged:

-Blanco (white): This is the purest form of tequila and has not been aged. It is typically clear and has a strong agave flavor.

-Joven or Oro (gold): This type of tequila has been aged for a very short period, usually less than two months. It may be colored with caramel to give it a golden hue.

-Reposado (rested): This tequila has been aged for at least two months but less than a year. It has a smoother flavor than blanco tequila and may develop some oaky notes.

-Añejo (aged): This tequila has been aged for at least one year but less than three years. It has a complex flavor with notes of oak, vanilla, and caramel.

-Extra añejo (extra aged): This tequila has been aged for at least three years. It has a deep amber color and a smooth, rich flavor.
