Is Pepsi cola a derivation of episcopal?
The name "Pepsi" does not have any direct connection to the word "episcopal." The origin of the Pepsi name is actually quite different.
Caleb Bradham, a pharmacist from New Bern, North Carolina, invented Pepsi cola in 1893. He named it "Pepsi-Cola" because he believed that the drink could aid in digestion and had invigorating properties. The name "Pepsi" comes from the Greek word "pepsis," which means "digestion." The word "cola" was added to the name because the drink contained kola nuts, which were believed to have stimulating effects.
