According to the Scotch Whisky Association, the industry produced a total of 1.3 billion litres of Scotch whisky in 2022. This includes both single malt and blended Scotch whiskies. The majority of Scotch whisky (95%) is produced in Scotland, with the remaining 5% coming from other countries, such as India and the United States.
