Jim Beam is a pure whiskey, That is to say not a blended whiskey. Shooting Jim Beam straight takes some getting used to. The flavor is very stout with out something mixed in. With a little practice Jim Beam can be shot straight.
Mixing Jim Beam with cola and ice is a favorite way for many people to drink it. Try different colas mixed with it. You will find your favorite flavor or flavors. One of mine is root beer. I think root beer and Jim beam with crushed ice is simply fantastic.
Making Jello and replacing part of the water with Jim Bea, is another favorite. Do not replace all of the water with Jim Beam the Jello shooters will be way to strong if you do this. Pick your favorite flavor for this too.
