• Apple vodka retains the fruitiness of apples and therefore blends well with a number of juices. One of the simplest fixes is apple vodka and apple juice -- if it's too sweet, then top with club soda. Other apple vodka juice drinks include apple vodka with cranberry juice or grape juice on the rocks. Both lemonade and limeade are also good mixers for apple vodka. Serve in a tall glass filled with ice. For a little more potency, mix a shot of apple vodka with apple or another fruit-flavored cider.

• Not all liquors mix well with dairy. Fortunately, apple vodka is not one of those liquors. The vodka's sweetness and fruitiness adds a layer to thicker dairy products like cream instead of curdling it. One simple shot with apple vodka and dairy is the apple kiss, which is equal parts apple vodka, apple schnapps and whipped cream. Another creamy shot is the apple pie shot, which is equal parts apple vodka and apple cider topped with whipped cream and cinnamon.

Simple Sodas

• A shot of apple vodka on the rocks topped with a carbonated beverage makes for a quick refreshing cocktail. Select a soda with a flavor that complements that of the apple vodka, like lemon-lime soda, orange-flavored soda, cream soda or ginger ale. Citrus-flavored energy drinks also mix well with apple vodka. Mix one part apple vodka with four parts energy drink. If the drink is too strong, cut it with one part club soda. Another good non-alcoholic mixer is sweet-and-sour mix -- mix equal parts apple vodka and sweet-and-sour mix on the rocks.
