How can you turn orange juice into a lolly?
Ingredients
* 1 cup orange juice
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
* 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the orange juice, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt.
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened slightly.
4. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
5. Pour the mixture into a popsicle mold and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
Tips
* For a smoother lolly, strain the mixture before freezing.
* Add some zest to your lollies by adding 1/2 teaspoon of grated orange zest to the mixture.
* For a more tropical flavor, add 1/4 cup of pineapple juice to the mixture.
* For a fun twist, try freezing the lollies in different shaped molds.
