Who was first person to put milk into coffee?
There is no definitive answer to this, as the practice of adding milk to coffee is likely to have originated independently in different cultures around the world. An early known reference to the practice is from the 17th century, when the French traveller Jean de Thévenot wrote about Bedouin Arabs adding camel's milk to their coffee. However, it is possible that the practice dates back much further, and it is likely that other cultures, such as the Ethiopians or Turks, may also have contributed to its origins.
