How much calcium is in coffee?
The amount of calcium in coffee can vary depending on the type of coffee, the brewing method, and the source of the coffee beans. On average, a cup of coffee (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) contains around 2 to 3 milligrams of calcium. However, some sources may report slightly different values. Instant coffee tends to have a higher concentration of calcium compared to drip coffee or espresso. Adding milk, cream, or other dairy products to your coffee can also increase the calcium content.
