How to make the actual Outback blueberry martini
If you've ever been to Outback's restaurant, they make a delicious blueberry martini. Try it. It is delicious. Light on the blueberry, a little sweet and very tasty!
At first I was suspicious as I am not a big martini drinker, nor a huge blueberry-type of drink fan. A girlfriend convinced me to try it and I felt like Sam-I-am because I loved it! Here the recipe. Try it out, you'll love it too.
Instructions
-
Ingredients Needed:
- Shot glass
- 2 martini glasses (or any glasses)
- Stoli's blueberry Vodka (may want to call liquor store to ask if they have it)
- Sweet and sour mix (found at grocery or liquor store) OR margarita mix without the tequila
- MONIN (brand) Blueberry syrup*
- Drink shaker
• This is the tricky one to find. It can be special ordered about $12/bottle
-
Combine:
4 shots blueberry syrup
6 shots Stoli blueberry Vodka
4 shots sweet and sour mix -
Pour all combined ingredients into the shaker. Shake vigorously.
-
Tips:
I suggest freezing both the shaker and Vodka. In fact, I keep them both in the freezer. The drink is best cold. The Monin is a delicious syrup and good on ice cream or pancakes also.
