Whiskey Stinger

• This simple cocktail packs a punch. To make a whiskey stinger, add 2 oz. whiskey and 1 oz. peppermint liqueur to a cocktail shaker and shake thoroughly. Serve in a cocktail glass over ice, and garnish with a fresh sprig of mint.

Whiskey Sour

• This strong cocktail has a distinct "zingy" flavor. The whiskey sour is made by mixing 2 oz. whiskey with the juice of one lemon, 1/2 tsp. of confectioners sugar and ice and traditionally served in a "sour glass" with a cherry and orange wedge to garnish.

Highball

• The highball is a simple, refreshing mixed drink. To make, pour 1 1/2 oz. whiskey into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with ginger ale and garnish with a lemon peel.

All American

• A strong, sweet cocktail, the all American is not for the fainthearted. To make an all American, place two ice cubes in a short glass or tumbler. Add 2 oz. bourbon whiskey, 1 oz. southern comfort and 2 oz. cola before stirring gently.

Old Fashioned

• To make an old fashioned, add 1 tsp. of water and a dash of bitters to a short glass or tumbler. Add 1 tsp. sugar and stir together. Finally, add 2 oz. whiskey, several ice cubes and mix well. Garnish with an orange wedge, a cherry and a twist of lemon peel.
