What was the first beer invented?

It's impossible to say for certain what the first beer invented was, as brewing predates written records. However, archaeologists have found evidence of beer production dating back to 7000 BCE in Mesopotamia, suggesting that beer was being made at least that long ago.

It's likely that early beers were very different from what we drink today. They were probably cloudy, unfiltered, and quite bitter, made with a variety of grains, and often flavored with herbs and spices.

While we may never know the exact recipe for the "first beer", the archaeological evidence suggests that it was a staple part of life in ancient Mesopotamia, consumed for both its nutritional value and its social and religious significance.
