Why coke is in black color?
There are a few reasons why Coke is black in color.
1. Caramel color. Caramel color is a food coloring that is made by heating sugar until it caramelizes. It is used to add color to a variety of foods and beverages, including Coke. Caramel color is also used to give Coke its distinctive flavor.
2. Caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant that is found in coffee, tea, and chocolate. It is also found in Coke. Caffeine can cause the blood vessels in the eye to constrict, which can make the eyes appear darker.
3. Phosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid is a mineral acid that is used to give Coke its tart flavor. It can also cause the teeth to appear darker.
The combination of these three ingredients gives Coke its characteristic black color.
Interestingly, Coke was not always black. When it was first introduced in 1886, it was actually clear. However, the company soon realized that people were more likely to buy a drink that was dark in color. As a result, they added caramel color to the recipe.
The black color of Coke has become an iconic part of the brand. It is one of the things that makes Coke unique and recognizable.
