What did pirates eat for dessert?

Pirates love a good sweet treat just like everyone else! They often had some form of a dessert, such as honey cakes, dried fruit, gingerroot, candied fruits, and molasses cookies. It was also tradition for pirates to end a big meal with a serving of rum pudding.
