Are gummy bears made out of pigskin?

Gummy bears are gelatin-based candies. Gelatin is a protein obtained by boiling skin, tendons, ligaments, and/or bones with water. Although pigs are one source of gelatin, gelatin used in gummy bears can come from other animals such as cattle and horses.
