What happens when you put gummy bears in sprite?
When gummy bears are put into Sprite, they begin to absorb the liquid, causing them to swell up and become much bigger than their original size. The process is called osmosis and occurs when the concentration of water is higher outside of the gummy bear than inside. The water molecules move from the area of higher concentration (the Sprite) to the area of lower concentration (the gummy bear) until equilibrium is reached. The gummy bear also absorbs the sugar and other flavors from the Sprite, which can make them tastier.
