Things You'll Need

  • 1-8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
  • 1-18 oz. package Oreo cookies or similar chocolate sandwich cookie, finely crushed
  • 1 lb. baking chocolate, white or semi-sweet, melted
  • Waxed paper
  • Baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Add softened cream cheese and finely crushed Oreo cookies to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed until blended thoroughly.

  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls, then dip them in melted chocolate.

  4. Place on a baking sheet covered with waxed paper. About 50 truffles should be produced.

  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until firm.

  6. Story any uneaten truffles in the refrigerator in a sealed container.
